BICOL TRIP - Virac, Catanduanes

It’s a known fact that the Bicol province is frequently visited by typhoons and it always rains in that part of the country. True enough, there was already plenty of rain when our plane landed.

I don’t usually like it when it rains in Manila. But for some reason, rain in Bicol is never the same. I like the countryside pouring. Instead of shooing the rain away, the country-girl-turned-city-girl begged for it to keep on. 

Louise and I danced, played, ran, jumped, (you name it) in the rain.

We suddenly became kids again.

Suddenly everything feels like home again.

And all the while, there was plenty of pure joy in the rain.
