And because I’m loving this sport…

I don’t have any more qualms about putting on socks and the climbing footwear.

I’ve never been so bright-eyed and bushy-tailed at doing something this physical.

It was love at first doing.

Each small step and grip carefully planned.

Climbing the wall.

And gaining.

Belaying also demands strength.

And for a human Q-tip like me, rest is definitely called for. I do look anorexic-ish here, don’t I? More reason for me to eat one hearty meal after.

And did I mention climbing also demands sacrifice? Posh nails. Un-check.

Shiny zero-frizz hair? Wishful thinking. Then again, I gotta say that’s more like my everyday look. Ha! But who cares?

Am I still going up? Yes, yes! Going a lot higher than everybody thinks.
