Someone once wrote it’s a cliche to hate Valentine’s and a cliche to celebrate it, too. So which side was I on? THIS.

The girls and I celebrated the month of love right after work at B-Side where a brilliant line-up of OPM bands, mostly female-fronted bands, all showcased their musical prowess.

Imago - I love how playful and interactional Aia (vocals/guitars) was during their set.

Kitchie Nadal - She started off with a remix of ASIN’s Usok featuring two seemingly street kids, one rapped and the other beat-boxed.

The JR Oca Experience (JOE) - I fell in love with this band that night. Their cover of Yano’s Banal Na Aso Santong Kabayo was fantabulous.

Up Dharma Down - How I wish I could sing as effortlessly as Armi (vocals/keyboards).

The crowd was as chill as ever at first.

Enjoying the epic scene in front

With the perfect posse

The same passion

The enormous enthusiasm

And a bottle of beer to heighten the moment.

It was definitely the sweetest and most rockin’ Valentine’s show ever.
